How I Teach

I take a functional approach to yoga, helping my clients to understand how the asanas or poses are working with the body, to release tension, ease out tight muscles and tendons and develop strength. 

My aim is to get my clients moving!  It’s simple - use it or lose it.

What I Offer

I provide a tailored approach which aims to meet the needs of my clients. I always discuss at the outset what each person is hoping to achieve from their yoga practice, concerns they may have and any physical ailments or limitations of which I should be aware. 

My group classes are kept small so that I can get to know my clients personally and help them develop their goals. Sometimes this means creating a series of yoga movements which will support other sporting interests, such as golf and tennis, which have caused tightness in specific joints.  Other times, it is helping to create a regular flowing practice which can be incorporated into daily life.
